Truck accident involving Kentucky man kills 1

A truck accident in Ohio involving a Kentucky man killed one individual recently. The accident occurred on July 20 on SR 73 at around 5:30 am. The driver of a Chrysler 200 was killed in the crash. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Chrysler 200 drove left of center and collided with a tractor-trailer head-on.

The tractor-trailer was being driven by a man from Martha, Kentucky. The truck driver and a passenger in the truck escaped the accident uninjured. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said that they don't believe alcohol or drugs played a role and that the crash is still being investigated.

This fatal truck accident is the fifth fatality in the area in the last month. The first fatality during this tragic stretch of time occurred on June 28 on SR 28. A wheel flew off a homemade trailer and into the victim's windshield, killing the passenger in the vehicle.

The second fatal accident occurred on July 2 and involved a motorcycle and a deer, killing the motorcyclist. The third fatal accident happened on July 3 on SR 28. A 17-year-old was driving a Chevrolet Malibu when it went off the road, hit a mailbox, overcorrected, went off the road again and hit a utility pole. The victim died at the scene.

On July 16, another fatal accident took the life of a 41-year-old man when his Ford Mustang hit a Ford Super Duty pickup head-on on SR 753.
