In Kentucky, many people choose to travel using a motorcycle. Furthermore, motorcycling is something that people sometimes become very passionate about. However, like many things, it comes with its risks. Accidents can happen to anyone, no matter what manner of vehicle they are using. However, motorcyclists generally lack the level of protection that people in enclosed vehicles may have.

It is easy to forget the potential danger of sharing the road with a truck. These vehicles are such a common sight that most drivers do not think twice about them. However, when accidents happen, trucks can cause widespread devastation. Furthermore, it is often the occupants of other vehicles on the road that suffer. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the majority of fatalities that occur during large tractor-trailer crashes are occupants of passenger vehicles.

Kentucky works to combat drunk driving

When drivers are impaired by an excessive blood alcohol concentration, it can have serious repercussions for them and those around them. As a result, authorities are constantly looking for ways to crack down on instances of drunk driving. Unfortunately many accidents still occur as a result of people driving while intoxicated and the costs can be high. Throughout the U.S. countless families are left struggling to adapt to the loss of a loved one in the wake of such accidents.
